detergent ok for baby?

I bought dreft detergent for the baby but its a little pricey and I won't be able to do that everytime he runs out and buy myself detergent too on the side. I heard there are detergents that are ok to wash baby clothes too? Exactly which ones are they? I actually bought tide and on the bottle it says with no perfume...or something.... Is that ok?

As long as your baby shows no form of allergies ie rash etc to the detergent. I think using whatever works. I wash Mason's clothes along with the rest of ours and have been doing that since birth.

yeah im pretty sure all the "free and clear" kinds are alright.

You can use just about anything. Most babies have very sensitive skin. I just use Tide Free for Gaffin's clothing.

I use all free clear.

as long as its no dye no perfume you can use it. I have the same one and my son is only 3 weeks but he's doing fine with it
