Egg Whites?
posted 11th Oct
My son will be 11 months in two days and has shown no food allergies at all. My husband and I have no history of food allergies on either side of our families. Would it be a huge deal if I stop separating the egg yolks from the whites?
I know it's recommended that you wait until after a year but he's so close and has had no issues in the past.

you can scramble eggs and see how he does. I gave my baby some by accident because I made french toast and scrambled eggs for everybody and served her a plate like she was one of us without thinking so once she had it she refused to give it back. At least if you do it at home you can watch him and see if he has a reaction to it. It's better you do it then someone else make the mistake and give it to him

I accidently gave Hailey egg whites at 10 months..she was begging for my food and I thought that it was egg YELLOWS that was bad..
Opps.. But no reaction !!! So I continued to give her eggs
PB at 11 months-She got a TINY bit on the crust from my sandwich.. No reaction so at 1yr old I started letting her have a PB Sandwich of her own (cut up into bite size pieces).
No honey yet cause I don't want to deal with the mess ;)
