Name Pronunciation

ok so i am naming my daughter Zoe (like Joey but with a Z ) and i know for a fact you can pronounce it two different ways Zoe like Toe, or Zoe like Joey. well everyone reads it and goes ohh... Zoe (like Toe) an it just gets under my skin. my husband and i do not wanna add a "Y" at the end because we like it Zoe but argh it frustrates me.  
what do you say when you read ZOE??

i look at zoe like zoey and its cute

I always say Zoe(y)!

I read it like Joey with a Z. . . . There is a celebrity whose name is Rachel Zoe (toe) and that my be why. . .I have never seen Zoe spelled any differntly tho

i say Zoey lol but i think tehre is a symbol you put above the e that makes it pronounced Zoey. it's 2 dots im pretty sure.
or you can just leave it Zoe and correct everyone. i like it spelled Zoe

when i first looked at it i thought ZOEY in my head.
but people are gonna mispronounce names anyways!

I get zoey and I know a lot of Zoe's I thought that was just common sense. Some people.

yeah i thought about adding the symbol but then i thought of all the drama with it like typing and what not so i looked it up and i read you can leave it without the two dots

I say it like Joey with a Z! Zoe! lol. You could do the little dots above the e... but those things drive me nuts, lol. You are going to be correcting people regardless. No one can ever pronounce Kailyn and I thought that was a pretty easy one! lol

you definately can. i just meant for when she's in school people could pronounce it right. but either way cute name. you could add and extra e? but i dunno any other way to get peopel to pronounce it correctly.
i'd just keep reminding people it's Zo-eeeeee. lol most people pronounce the name correctly.

thats the only wasy i know to pronounce Zoe... like Zoey... I always thought the added y was stupid
