grr doctors help I dont know what to do!!

Ok so Alexys is 7 weeks and for the past week she i=has been very fussy not sleeping during the day and spitting up alot and also vomiting. So I called the pediatrician and they told us to go to the e.r. because it might be a narrow feeding tube or aicd reflux so we go into the e.r. he checks her eyes for scratches because obviously me being her mother even though I know that she is fussy because she isnt holding down her food am wrong and she might have scratched her eyes okay so no scratches in the eyes (duh). The pediatrician told me on the phone not to feed her for a while before we go in because of the tests they would have to do. Well he refused to do the test said thats not what it is and to give her a little bit of mylanta before feeding her. So we have been doing that she doesnt seem to be spitting up to much but she is still vomiting once after every feeding,not sleeping during the day and still unhappy all the time and now I dont know what to do!

Mylanta for babies?  That just sounds weird to me.  Im sorry mama, I hope they figure out something for your little one soon.  Poor thing.

ya I know thats what I sad he said only 2 cc but still!! Honestly he was probably just to lazy and I will have to take her to another hospital!

Try a thicker formula like the pink can of Emfamil. Or ceral to help her hold down as much as she can. My son had that and thats what worked for me.

i would take her back to a different ER. that doctor probably jsut thoght carzy momma worrying about soemthing that doesn't need to be worried about.

Tats what I read to and he actually tokd me to put less powder per water! He really pissed me off

Just do it. I had that scare w/ my son he stopped breathing. If you get wic they can switch it over for you. I put my newest one striaght on it cause i wasnt playing around w/ that and loose her. But thats the best I can give. I hate docs. Your crazy if anything is going wrong

agreed that is really how he made me feel!

My son almost died and the paramedics were telling me he was fine and didnt need to go.

well since I cant go right now and get her the pink formula I made her bottle with and extra scoop in it! lets hope this makes her feel better!

Ok good. But as soon as u can do that. Its Enfamil AR Lipil. And pick up ceral maybe to put in her baby food.

she doesnt eat baby food yet she is only 7 weeks!
