What do you think the best brand of diapers is?

posted 11th Oct
When my son was frist born I tired him with newborn huggies and they did nothing but leak! I had to change his clothes/jammies ALL the time and at 3am that wasn't really my idea of a good time. Since then I've been using Pampers and they have worked out pretty well... though they do leak sometimes at night and my poor sons PJS/bed are soaking!! I've tried target... not impressed, Kirkland... not impressed. What do you use and love? And what is the best diaper for a 16 month old? Like I said I use Pampers and have been happy expect sometimes at night.

I use pampers and Luvs. huggies leaked in the beginning. Last night Gaffin slept from 8PM-7AM and boy was his diaper full. I am amazed it did not leak.
I think a lot of leaks happen b/c of the way the diapers fit or if they aren't on properly.
We tried huggies in the beginning and they leaked. I ended up ussing a huge bag of them when he gained a little weight & they didn't leak.

I think huggies leak more with boy babies at first because of how they are cut... but it was a pain!!

i use Luvs and i LOVE them! the only time i used a different brand was up until my dauhgter was 3 months old. she had to use Pampers newborn diapers. she was too small to fit in the smallest size of Luvs. those i didnt like too much becasue they leaked soemtimes. but the Luvs the only tiem they leak is if 1)soemone puts them on wrong(thanks mom lol) or if seh peed alot during bed time.

I looove pampers, but they are too expensive.
I was using Target brand until today. I have almost a whole box left, but my son keeps leaking threw them! I normally change sheets 1/week (both mine and his since he sleeps in both places) and the last week since I changed to Target, I have changed both sets every other day, at least.

I like pampers the best! Huggies seem to leak more with my son and I notice the when I put the diapers on if I pull to hard the tabs tend to fall right off!

I hate when that happens.. you pay so much for diapers then you pull the tab off and have to throw it away... that sucks!!!

You could always get a bigger size of pampers for at night time..I had to do that with my first son...then he shouldnt pee through them.

We had our daughter on Pampers Swaddlers in the beginning and then switched to regular Pampers. Well they seemed to leak so we tried Luvs. Those leaked as well, So now we are on Huggies.

I have newborn huggies, anda pkg of off-brand newborn diapers that I'm going to use. I chose Luv's though because of the really good reviews, and the fact that they cost the same as the walmart brand per diaper...

I HATE huggies w/ my son. So we are on the last box of huggies, and we won't be buying them anymore. My daughter is ok in huggies, she's using them now. I perfer Pampers, either baby dry or swaddlers. Until they start to crawl I found that White Cloud sold at Walmart, does it's job during the day, and they are so much cheaper, so we will be using white cloud durning the day and pampers if we go out or at night. At least until I see that they are leaking, which so far, not a leak!

ETA: I tried using LUVS and they did not work for my daughter or my son, they leaked bad for my babies.
