Why Some Men Have Dogs And Not Wives

1. The later you are, the more excited your dogs are to see you.

2. Dogs don't notice if you call them by another dog's name.

3. Dogs like it if you leave a lot of things on the floor.

4. A dog's parents never visit.

6. You never have to wait for a dog; they're ready to go 24 hours a day.

8. Dogs like to go hunting and fishing.

9. A dog will not wake you up at night to ask, 'If I died, would you get another dog?'

10. If a dog has babies, you can put an ad in the paper and give them away.

11. A dog will let you put a studded collar on it without calling you a pervert.

12. If a dog smells another dog on you, they don't get mad. They just think it's interesting.

13. Dogs like to ride in the back of a pickup truck.

And last, but not least:

14. If a dog leaves, it won't take half of your stuff.

oh evil man!!! lol....i think we would live with out our dog, sometimes i wish we could sell her lol...sucha pain in the arse but we love her....she is like 3 years old and stilla cts like a lil puppy

we have 2 dogs in the house..both are about 70lbs... but they are very very well trained..they each know about 60-70 commands and tricks..haha i couldnt have a dog inside unless it was VERY well trained..once these pass we are done with dogs.. haha i got a kid now and dont have time to train new dogs.

When i moved in she knew nothing didnt no sit go away nothing, btu i snapped her outta it, i got her to sit to get off the bed to go away go out side, be gental when taking food out of our hands, i also got her to walk on alead lol and stop chewing everythign up

I had a shih-tzu who was too stupid to remember to jump when she was going up a step, lol, but I still loved the little puff-ball

i did most of the training myself.. we did have a pro trainer come in to help when we had our son..haha i cant take full credit for it thu..boxers are naturally really smart and good kid dogs..

it would take me all day to list what they each know..but the basics are..sit, stay,laydown, wait(we make them wait for food or to go out the door..they arent allowed to eat or walk out the door until we say ok) they know a command called "be sweet" it pretty much means be still or freeze..we use to when collin is playing with them..that way they dont try and like stand up if collin is sitting on them.. they know mommy, daddy, collin. bed, mommys bedroom. collin;s bedroom, bath tub... living room..couch..all kinda stuff... we can tell them to get a toy and get on the couch and they will go to there toy box(they have there own haha) and they will each pick a toy and go lay on the couch and wait for the next command.. they know "get back" which we use when we feel ther are invating collin's or anyone elses space.. they are not allowed in collin;s room and nothing you can do will make them go in there hahaha they are very good dogs.

My husbands friend has 2 labs like that, they are amazing!! he can tell them to go grab all sorts of random stuff, or to pick some food off the floor someone drops and they instanty do it. They are humongous and I feel for his wife because when they aren't home they tend to get into things and sleep on the fiurniture... but I was just shocked when he can say the most random things and off they go!!
