What's a good toy for a two-year-old?

I plan to visit my friend and see her new baby girl in about a week, and I thought I'd bring a present for her two-year-old son..you know,so he doesn't feel ignored or left out.
Can anyone recommend an inexpensive,age-aproppriate toy to help him celebrate becoming a big brother?Thank you:-)

My son just turned 3. Whenever we went to the store he wanted a "Cars" car. Or there are these chunky trucks that both my kids really liked. I think Little Tikes. Not sure. But they are bright colored and squishy

When we had Jacob, people bought presents for Tyler as well, he was 2.5years at the time and they gave him Cars toys or just anything with wheels basically lol.

Is Cars the brand of toy? I will check them out.
