So Aidan has been only waking up once or sleeping through the night for about a month now. This week I have the flu... bad, so Im awfully run down. Now for the past two nights he has been waking up every 3 hrs. He's waking up fully hungry too. Any thoughts as to what this may be? Possibly the 3 month growth spurt? Im dying here

could be fighting the flu off, could be growth spurt, really it's hard to tell until he shows some signs of SOMETHING

Thats just it: he doesnt seem sick, he isnt showing the other symptoms he shows when its his teeth, and other than a little extra fussiness I've got nothing to go off of. Its frustrating. Why does this happen the one week I REALLY need the extra sleep.

me too. this article has tips for preventing it. most of which sharon has already mentioned

OH My sister texted me that her teacher (she's a nursing student ick) said that gargling with salt water every night can prevent it because it keeps the ph of your mouth in a balance that the germs won't like.
(in really lay terms haha0

sounds good. I just limit how often we go out now. Which is basically never we go for a walk with the dog to check the mailbox and to my inlaws every so often butI avoid crowds.. we even go grocery shopping later at night to avoid people trying to touch my baby lol.. maybe i'm just paranoid lol

Quoting i love my sunshine:“ I think whatever feels right to you. I'm due in July, so Lydia will be 2 1/2. For us, this is a good age gap Oh btw friends on fb don't say anything we're not telling family yet.”

2 1/2 was PERFECT for us, and Lydia reminds me so much of Addison. I bet it will be an awesome age spacing.
It was close enough together that they will be able to play together, but far enough apart that Addison was weaned, potty trained, speaking in full sentences and a little more independent before we had a baby that needed more attention. And she was old enough to understand and comprehend the process, and she went to my appointments with me and looked at pictures, she even watched birth videos with us, and did absolutely amazing during Isla's birth.
It worked out great!

Although I have this baby fever so badly. LOL I dont know if I'm gonna wait quite as long in between the next two.
As soon as my cycles regulate I think we're gonna start trying for a boy.
I had a good one last month, and this month is seeming like it's on track too. We'll see when my period comes. I need to start temping.
