it is!! I was so excited because Lydia did almost everything early but now I'm so sad that she's grown up so fast

lol i almost cried a couple nights ago because she outgrew her 0-3 pjs..

*babys have a very sencitice gag reflex and just because she might make a gag noise doesn't always meen she choking, watch her still but don't stop trying the finger food cause she'll get the hang of um once she explores how the whole chewing thing workes lol. Naomi still doesn't take anything off a spoon except cereal, everything else I give her is finger foods or choped foods for her to feed herself.

*I had to take a BG break causeof all the shit on here. I don't even respon in the everyday topic anymore, maybe one here or there if no ones on but I have found some moms I get alone with and I stick to them for conversations (you guys mainly andmy VBAC thread). I try to get in on the November 08 mommas thread but they talk way to fast for me and they had some rule that I HAD to keep up in there or not bother to come in at all.  I posted in there for like a week at then said F-it.

Aww Thanks.. and yeah it still feels like i just had her yesterday and here she is 11 5 oz 24 inches long and a lil over 3 months.. i want to cry. and the november thread sounds douchey lol.

I wasnt so much a fan of the drama in the August mama thread either, if you recall. Unless you are just not remembering running me out of there on a pole for supporting my hospitals anti-formula availability position. It was pretty freaking rough for me to go through pregnancy with no support network anymore because I had been run out of the August mothers. Im still very hurt.

sigh I think I need a bg hiatus aside from the few who i actually like...it seems like everywhere you turn, you're being attacked for your parenting/lifestyle choices.

Heaven forbid someone try to keep their child from having too many toxins in their body   what a horrible mother that makes you!

Maybe it's a perception problem on my part, but it does seem like BG is full of people just looking for a fight lately, and not afraid to fight dirty. I most often get attacked for extended breastfeeding, being pro-life, and being a Christian. I'm not flexible on my POV of any of those things, so maybe I'm just defensive and hyper-sensitive.

today I have seen attacks for posting an article with a study showing flu vax don't work, attacks for posting bpa is in a lot of things we didn't realize.

in the past 3 days I have seen attacks on people who choose not to feed their children candy, who choose not to start solids until 12 months or later.

In the last week I have PERSONALLY been attacked for saying that the person who's mad at being judged for feeding her child candy shouldn't judge someone else for not starting solids, then attacked for asking if they really think their child with a genetic disorder and low life expectancy wouldn't benefit from better nutrition. I was attacked by someone in a chat thread I've been in almost two years because I called someone else stupid for arguing whether you can ovulate and NOT have a period but NOT be pregnant because "she does"   I've been called a know it all for giving facts that I've researched very thoroughly MANY times in the last couple weeks.

I'm just so sick of it!!! and 90% of it is people from one thread that I was in. I got rid of that thread and am working on getting them out of my PT it's ridiculous.

and now 4 or 5 times in the last year (less actually) i've been called a bragger, a liar, and all sorts of stuff because Lydia talks a lot.

and the point of my looooong post was to say that no I don't think it is your perception. I think it's just how things have been.

oh and in the last week I was in a ebf debate. trying to have an adult conversation but being attacked the entire time.

seriously!! you're sharing information not saying 'if you use these things you are a BAD parent and your child will DIE" but sharing new knowledge you acquired. But, when you get told "oh it's not THAT big of a deal" like that, it makes ya feel defensive (makes me feel that way anyway)


the people in sharons thread (usagi and mer is a mean girl) are from the january thread. they talk about vax all the time and once I got jumped on because I said we delay/selective vax and there is no point in putting so many things in a kids body especially at one time. they basically called me irresponsible for doing so since we spend a lot of time at the daycare.   and mer is a mean girl and i used to be really close...

but it's like if you try to make good choices and don't call your kid an ass and actually LIKE your kid, you don't fit in with the january 08 moms.  

and the girl I kind of fought with in Mae's thread about suckers for 4 mo's is a january mom....
