You don't get any of that here. We all make different decisions. We all think different things are best for our kids, and no one else can say anything cuz no one else knows our kids

I know the feeling all to well. I've been home for 16 months with J. I return to work tomorrow. I'm as nervous as hell. DH is taking the day off to be with her but he's only every had her for 3 hours tops. So this will be interesting. I hope they do okay....I have no choice though..I have to go back to work. I'm fine with working...just worried about the adjustment period. The last thing I want to do is have her feel traumatized.

no one can tell you exactly when your child WOULD wean. most kids, who truly self wean, do so between 3 and 4 years old, I've heard. And remember, that you can always just "go with the flow" and if you get to a point or age where you are no longer comfortable, you can wean then.

I do think the first 2 years are very important though. I've chosen to self-wean (so far) and right now I'm nursing my 5 month old and also my older son, who is 2 yr 7m old. I promised DH I would wean him by his 3rd birthday (DH has issues with my nursing past 24 months, so this was a compromise), but I honestly don't know if I will wean then or not.

I know I said that. They said its all about never hurting your child.

Yeah I'm worried about that too! Atleast she's used to your husband   I'm mostly worried about accidents cuz he's sooo fast...and last week he burned his hand when I was watching him  (( makes me extra paranoid about someone else watching him...he got a black eye the other day when my mom watched him while I was sewing in the next room aggh

People who think they should be perfect always fail. Sadness.

Where is it located? Does he have full movement of the limb it's on?

That sounds like more of an ultrasound/mri situation than an xray situation.

Haha I just posted about it again dammit...
Yeah he doesn't seem bothered by it at all

It really freaks me out because he hasn't had any hard falls there that I know of

Do you have a picture? That does sound kinda freaky but it could be a ton of different things.

Whoops didn't notice how old he is. You could've missed a fall pretty easily at that age and sometimes all you need is a tiny bump for a bruise, I get bruises all the time and don't even remember why.

No...I can't post on my phone tho...but it just looks like a bruise...you have to actually feel around to notice the lump...its like half an inch or so

I know he gets bruises all the time...but the lump is what scares me...and its like moveable...like a hematoma?

That sounds like something I would be worried about too, but it might be nothing. Go on in to the Dr and see what they say. Just tell then that you want to avoid any unnecessary procedures.

All parents know how scary it is when you are worried about your little one just try and keep in mind that in small doses X-ray, CAT Scans and MRIs are all safe. Yes we worry about our babies but if the Dr thinks it is important for something like an MRI I think you should listen to your Dr.(if it is a Dr who you trust. If you do not trust them then get a second opinion)

I bet you LO is just fine and this is probably nothing. Try not to worry.
