Normal verses not normal cramping

posted 10th Oct
I had minor cramps in the 1st trimester, and I didnt have any in my 2nd, but now that I have entered my 3rd trimester I have them again. I get annoyed cus they come when I am involved in doing something. For instance like doing chores, cooking, or feeding the dogs, or just sitting down watching a movie, or playing computer. In my opinion, they are not bad cramps, and I have to often change my position sometimes that means to get out of bed or go to bed. I have told my midwife this and she said shes not worried if they dont last long. They dont but they come back. Is there anyone that has the same prob? Is this normal? Its my first pregnancy, so I have no clue what is normal for me and what is not. I will know next time though.. ha ha. There is no blood, so Im not worried, Im just curious.

Ive been really crampy since about 32 weeks. My doc says it is normal as long as its not contractions. Usually it is just the way they are laying. I really feel them when I do a lot of walking or house cleaning.

It really annoys me, cus I get a little scared sometimes. Walking gets me crampy too and its not even a lot of walking compared to what I am used to.

Thats awesome to know someone that is due the same time. I dont know what a contraction feels like, so I cant say I had any yet. I hope not, Im only 32 weeks barely. I will take your advice.

Same exact thing happened (is happening) to be and my doctor told me the exact same thing. That it could just be the position of the baby, my belly streching, etc. She wasn't worried about it and told me not to worrie about it.

Oh good to know. It kinda scares me a little. I feel like I might be overdoing things when I get them, but I think your doc is right it has to be her position. I recently learned that my baby just moved out of the breeched position and into the birthing position with her head down. It makes sense that I have cramps I guess.
