3rd trimester weight gain

i went to the dr. the other day and i only gained less than 1 lbs in 2 wks ?

is that normal? scares the crap outta me cuz i wanna make sure hes getting fat too?

yep.. i gained half a pound in 2 weeks..

What did your doctor say? Did he say your baby was measuring fine? I haven;t gained much either and I'm in my third trimester. & Everyone keeps telling me that as long as the doctor say that I'm measurinf fine.. then no need to worry. My doctors appointment not until next week so I'm watching this topic.
Although, my mom told me that she was smaller than me when she was giving birth..lol.. She was real skinny and I was only 5 pounds and my sister was only 4 pounds when we were born. Wouldn;t be able to tell that now..lol

Im sure its fine dont worry unless your doc is worried..... I have the opposite problem between my 25th and 27th wk apt I gained 5lbs and I have an apt on thursday n already gained 4lbs since my 27 wks visit... so Im expectin another 5lb weight gian if not 6.. I think this kid is gonna b huge though..lol with my son my weight gain was all over the place.. 1 lb in 2wks 3 lbs in 2 wks... yada yada... relax your doc will let you know if your doing ok or you can ask at your next visit...

girl to be honest my dr is a freaking flake this appt he didnt really do anything

a lot of u no i went into premature labor was admitted and all that! well he put me on bed rest and restrictions........well he said he would talk to me bout it at my appt.......a wk later

ok i get there he had to go deliever no biggie its important
he gets into my room asks if i have any quests get the fetal heart tones and leaves didnt even lemme talk really

girl i gained 60+ wit my daughter so thats y im freaking i only gained 20 so far wit him

I haven't gained anything in my third trimester... my mid-wife hasn't said anything about it.

Sound like you need a better doctor... I would have been like .."uhh excuse me"..lol

big difference..lol I c now!! well your preprego weights..were they diff??? I mean they dont reccomend 60 at all for a weight gain... 20 sounds alot healthier...

I have your problem. I'm gaining weight like crazy! And I don't even have that much of an appetite. But I can't lose weight because my dr worries if I lose one pound. And I can't really figure out why that is either.

I dont mind gaining extra though because Im only 113 preprego and always want 2 gain weight so Im hoping I can keep some weight from my pregnancy and just tone up afterwards.. I only ended up keeping 8 from my son.. I was 105 preprego with him!!! eek!!

I weighed 125 before my daughter, dropped down and weighed like 114 before I got pregnant with this one. So yeah I don't mind the weight but I'm like you I'm wanting to get toned up after the pregnancy anyways.
