pushing with hemmroid?

so... i got a hemmroid the other day.. it hurts really bad..im gonna get some cream tomorrow.. how soon does it go away?? im supposed to be induced on friday and cant imagine pushing while having this painful hemmroid!!!! if i get the cream tomorrow.. it should be gone by friday right????

ugh it could be gone, it could not be gone. are you using an epi?? you wouldn't even know. even if you dont use an epi, the pain from the birth would mask the pain from the hemmroid.
although pushing from birth will make it worse if you still have it or possibly make more appear.

yeah im having an epidural(sp?) ... i forgot about that.. so.. i shouldnt feel no pain... sorry, dumb question!

I remember that post. You were like 'Ahh! What's this thing in my butt!'It made me giggle for about 5 whole minutes.
Hope it goes away by the time you have to push, but if you're getting pain meds you probably won't feel it. And if not, you'll probably be too busy thinking about other things to notice the pain. But I'm just guessing. I haven't had a hemmroid or a baby yet.

Depending on the severity of it, they actually do go way sometimes. By roperly taking care of it

Oh my...I don't know about that, but I bet it's something that you should make your doctor aware of because it can probably get worse with the pushing. Maybe there's something they can do ahead of time, something prescription strength or something

Buy some fiber tablets that will help with the constipation and ease up on the hemmroid. Remember it will still be there after the birth and your first poo is going to be a tough one. Take as much fiber as you can, get regulated before the birth it will help you after. Witch Hazel will help with the pain.

What i would worry about, is pushing can make imake it worse. Talk to your doctor.. I just got my first one and am pretty horrified about it. I did a lot of reading, and found out they usally go away. I would immagine though if it gets worse it may not just go away

not true! they should go away, but some do not and at that point you have to get them removed!
