OMG, FINALLY!! I was starting to wonder when...

Aidan is a little over 6 1/2 months old right now, and I keep seeing mothers talking about their babies, much younger, getting up on all fours and rocking, army crawling, or even full on cruising around on hands and knees.
Aidan will take steps a'plenty when he holds onto your fingers but seriously, has showed not a bit of interest in crawling... until just now!! He was in his Pack n Play for a few minutes after a diaper change, and BAM! Rolled over, got up on all fours and started rocking back and forth!! Just out of the blue!! lol, I was beginning to wonder if he'd EVER show signs of crawling, the little critter!!
I should've got pictures, the camera was right next to me but damnit, I was too excited!!! Ooooh, I'm really in for it now!
I'm so curious now about how long it'll take him to crawl... *smiles wide in excitement and anticipation*

my son rocked for 2 months before crwling (he started at about 6.5 months and just started 2 weeks ago and he's 8.5 months.)

Mine is started to hold himself up on his hands like a bear crawl but no crawling.. he hasn't even rolled from his back to belly yet.. but he has belly to back... so we'll see..

Alex didnt start crawling until 10 months and then she only crawled for about 1 1/2 weeks then she decided that she was going to walk.
she just got up one day and that was it

hahah. I think that's how my son is.
He crawls to anything he can grab and tries to pull up..
He hasn't quite figured it out yet but almost.

I was happy for her not to crawl or walk lol
now she is into EVERYTHING
my friends laugh as alex loves to investigate everything
all of there kids ( all of my friends kids are the same age as alex ) dont seem interested in anything
but if alex sees something then she has to go and check it out lol

omg that is Aidan to a T, anything that is within an arms reach is his and if it isn't reachable, that means I get to wrestle with him as he tries to escape mommy's grasp...

i read the announcement and first thing i thought was "omg aidan is crawling" lol... cedric has been doing the rocking for almost a week now... hes more on his elbows instead of his hands, but i know its coming soon... he hates being in one spot, ever since he started walking in the walker, he likes being mobile

our house is so child proof its not funny
its annoying but if we didnt shit would be everywhere
we have to shut every door - i left the toilet door open one day and she got in there and threw a calculator and some nappies in the toilet lol

haha oh my goodness Aidan is a roller like no other... I put him down, go to the bathroom for 2 minutes and I come back and he's at my bedroom door eating a Parents Magazine he got from the coffee table shelf!! lol!! Once he starts crawling, it's all over, we'll be forced to embrace simplicity, lol!!!

Aidan is still VERY confused about the walker... he, I guess, thinks its a defective Jumperoo and gets really pissed after a few minutes when he can't get it to bounce... lol!!
