okay everyone i met someone on bg and they aregiving a place to stay she is even gonna come pick me and a friend up cause we are sick of being in kansas but anyway she lives in indiana its kinda far away from here ..so my whole family and anyone close to me is trying to get me to stay by telling me im gonna get chopped in a million peices and they are gonna take my baby and sell him ...wtf ..so my question is you think its safe or not ?? i never thought of doing this before ..i think my family is just trying to scare me ...so im kinda confused ...so i just want to know what you all have to say about this topic

I would trust just about anyone from BG. But I'm pretty trusting...

I think you really have to use your intuition on this one. Has the person been a member for long? Do they have many friends here? Is this a 'liked' member.

You know, ask yourself some common sense questions. If you're worried or paranoid about going, then don't.

I say trust your gut instinct. I would say meet and get to know each other a little better before moving so far away though. I met my SO off the internet and quite a bit of friends.

I've met plenty of mommies from online (not bg but other sites I am a member of) and have never had a scary experience.

Oh so I DID understand right, she's tlaking about moving and not a meet up.

Wow uhm. That's a very serious decision to be making considering you've never met the person before.

I lived with my boyfriend for 7 years now, and he is someone I met on the internet, no problems here, he's the sweetest person I could have in my life!

This is a little more crazy and something I don't recommend, but before then, I went from Canada to France to meet someone I met on the internet, I was not in any danger at all and had a great time, but things could have been getting bad quickly.

I say, from my own experience, be careful, you know what to bring and not bring (as far as getting his identity stolen!) be on the safe side, but especially since you won't be alone I dont think there's any big risks, but that's my own experience.
