8 weeks after my baby's death, got the green light to TTC

Got my 8 week PP checkup from my doctor. He said that chances of having a healthy baby are good, basically giving me the green light to go ahead and start trying. It's really soon, I'm not done grieving but I want and need to have a baby.

I've never actively tried before. My firstborn was unplanned. Any advice on getting knocked up?

Just don't stress about it. Try not to think of it as "trying". That just puts too much pressure on it, and sometimes hinders the process. Just have fun!!! Good luck momma!!!

i didn't have a cycle after my sons death and just had sex everyday even when i wasn't in the mood. {i know that it sounds stupid}
I wasn't done grieving but that little hope that a pregnancy after loss gave me has been helpful. I am still very nervous and scared about the pregnancy but there is a little hope and that makes me feel better. JMO

I know that Clearblue makes ovulation tests, where you can see if you are ovulating. Maybe try some of those?? Good luck to you, and lots of baby dust!!!

I just read your about me. Honey I'm so sorry about your loss  . I hope it doesn't take you long to conceive.

First off I want to say how sorry I am for your loss. He is absolutely beautiful.
For ttc, I only recommend what the other ladies have said, try to keep it fun and very importantly start taking a prenatal vitamin with folic acid. Best wishes for a bfp soon and a safe pregnancy.

Your babys picture is beautiful.... He looks like a cherub, sweet little face....

And noone should ever feel guilty for wanting another baby after you lose one... I read that sex every other day is enough for getting pregnant, and I also read somewhere that if you lay down afterwords for 30 min it will keep the sperm from dripping out.... Getting pregnant was never the problem for me, it was STAYING pregnant (2 miscarraiges). Best of luck!!!!!!!
