These say crisisservices! That's where I wentin the middle of the night, they are usually 24 hours... Tell them your situation and let them know you are feeling suicidal! If they don't help you, I will be in total shock and I have no other info to give...

When you go to places like that (mental facility or hospital with crisiscenter)the doctors evaluate you to see if your in danger to yourself or others IF they think you are not they won't admit you...

You're not an idiot!! Something is different in our brains that causes us to feel that way. It's notyour fault! I had terrible anxiety too and a little bit of OCD but it's better now that i'm on meds. Are you on meds mama(if you don't mind me asking)?

Lithium worked for me quickly because I was hospitalized and they put me on a high dose

ETA: Right now I am on 300mgs. of Lamictal a day.... I got off Abilify and Lexapro while I was pregnant, but I think I want them back now! I feel like shit....

I've been trying to get admitted because I know its what I need. I need a new psych eval and my meds need to be adjusted. Hopefully after I meet wth my therapist on Wednesday, she'll be able to do something!!!

yes hes agreed to get some help and so will i. Im ok right now i can go a couple days being ok then get super depressed its weird

Ok, so im thinking about going back to counseling. I think I need it. Recently I've been feeling down and the small things are really getting to me. I feel like I cant do anything right. Everywhere I turn Im fucking something up. I am to a point where I dont know what to do. Almost every morning when I wake up, I wish I didn't. I wish I could go to sleep one night and not wake up the next morning. To be honest this morning I was washing the dishes and seriously considered cutting myself with a damn steak knife and that thought in and of itself scared the crap out of me (its beenso long since I have had thatkind of intense urge that I actually WANTED to give into).However, I have not had good experiences with counselling and on top of that I am thinking that I may actually need to go on anti-depressants but the last couple times I've been on them, they make me feel emotionally numb, so I'm afraid to go on them again. Anyone had good experiences with anti-depressants or counselling?

Yea hopefully! If you get admitted they can do all that stuff way faster than they can outpatient.

That's great! I'm glad. Hmm idk you could be anything you should get a good diagnostic work-up to find out your diagnosis and your husband too.

I think that you should definately do SOMETHING mama cause you don't deserve to suffer like that & feel so down    I have had some bad experiences with both, but the trick is to find the right counselor and the right meds. I've finally found both. It can take awhile though. So if you're even having suicidal thoughts and thoughts of harming yourself you should get admitted to the hospital and they can find the right meds for you much more quickly than on an outpatient basis. Then you can start counseling. It's just a suggestion, but i've realized that for me if i'm not on the right meds nothing anyone says to me will make me feel better.

Yes they were! And Zoloft DID work while I was pregnant... But it's not working now... My appt. is Friday!
