The funeral is on Saturday... I am definately going... but I don't know if I should take my daughter. She's 11 months old, she didn't know him, and a funeral isn't really the scene for a baby..... What should I do?

get a sitter u dont want her exsposed to the facts of life so soon.

I wouldnt take my baby to a funeral, It's just not the place for it. I'm sorry for your loss.

I wouldnt want to take my child...thats a sad place and I dont think a baby should have to feel all that.

Sorry to hear about your cousin. And you probably don't want to take her. My best friends mother watched my daughter who was one and a half when my sister passed away. It's not a really good environment. They pick up easily on emotions.

unless you feel the baby should be there its difficult bringing an infant to a funeral because they get fussy, unless they had a strong bond, which they wouldnt have if she didnt know him, thenyou shouldnt feel like you have to bring her

I had to bring mythen-6month old to a funeral because I didn't have a sitter, but I wouldn't suggest it. He was good, but it's not easy. If you have a sitter, I say don't bring her, but if you don't, don't not go because you have her. I hope that helped a little.

I don't think you should bring the baby, Try to get a sitter.

I have a problem getting a sitter for anything... that was the problem..

But it ended up alright.. she fell asleep on the way there and my sister stayed in the car with her and her kids... She woke up when everything was over and I brought her in as everyone was leaving... so it was ok that way...
