True it could have been an allergic reaction but they probably would have found evidence of that in a autopsy. Who knows really. You never get details when the story is a friend of a friend.

MMM... like I said before I dont know much about it.  Where we use to live they would lace (IDK if thats the word) the pot with something else.  Let me just say the town is full of druggies.  Dont get me wrong.  I smoked weed in my past but stopped when I got pregnant.  Havent smoked since I was 18.  But they will lace it with anything just to have fun.  The town we lived in was a bore.  Nothing to do but get into trouble or go party.  So who knows it could have had something more in it.

Secondly, marijuana is frequently and unpredictably "cut" with other substances. So the fetus may be unintentionally exposed to other potentially harmful substances in addition to marijuana.

To be honest I don't buy the whole laced bit. I mean what drug dealer is going to lace some pot and still sell it for the same amount of money? If they charge more then people will want to know why and what's in it. It's just not good for business.

See, the problem with the information about marijuana frequently being laced is it doesn't tell the whole story.

Dealers don't do it, it's not economical and it's nearly impossible to get something onto or into a bud without someone noticing.

People do mix other drugs into their weed, but that's done by the users themselves - some people will do drugs with people they don't know or trust and come into contact with laced drugs that way, but that's poor judgment.

Anytime I smoked anything laced, it was because either a friend laced it or I did.... Who says it was laced by a drug dealer? Im with you on the fact that theyre not gonna give you extra for the same price...

I never bought anything.  I just happened to hang around with the ones who spent their money on it.  That town was full of people selling, so I guess to be one up above the other they did "cut" it with something else.  The town is really small and boring.  The graduating class I think was like 100 people.  My fiance hung out with some people who bought too, and thats when he smoked some pot where he tripped out so bad he was paranoid and everything.  But like I said, I never bought so Im not sure.  Plus I dont know if the dad in the story was using more then just pot.  I saw him a few years back and he looks like smurf.  Hes not that cute hunky looking football player he use to be.

I can't get passed the fact they drug test the mums and babies!! If they tried that over here, and then tried to use an illegal drug test in a case against you. They'd be in the biggest smurf trouble ever.

If you are an experienced marijuana user, you know usually by looking at ur weed if its laced or not. But if not, the 1st hit of it, the taste and/or smell will automically let you know. Now if u keep smoking it after u think there's something iffy about it, .than thats ur own ignorant decision. Weed is unique in taste and smell, so you should be able to know right off bat.

Ive never been an experienced marijuana user.  I never bought it, I just happened to be there when my friends had it.  I never smoked on a daily basis more then once.  Its one of those occasional things I did back in high school which would explain why I wasnt sure if laced was the correct term.  Neither was my fiance.  So there fore I really wouldnt know off the bat.  I just think that since there is no proof on the effects of using weed while pregnant, good or bad, a person shouldnt use it during pregnancy.  They do say that smoking and drinking holds a lot more risks then pot.  But there still arent facts that prove either good or bad, or even that nothing really happens.  Anyways, sorry if I feel differently then some, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.  If she continues to smoke and doesnt see any harm in doing so, thats her choice.  I dont know the laws of Florida, but I know I would die before risking my child being taken away.  Anyways, my son is falling asleep in my arms, so I better get up and lay him down.
