lotion

My baby is one week and 4 days old and her hands are peeling really bad. Can I put baby lotion on them? I'm afraid that she will suck on her hands and get sick. (her hands are in her mouth a lot when she is hungry.)

its normal that they peel. my sons skin peeled too on his hands. if you dont want her sucking on her hands put some mittens on them  

oh and yes, you can put lotion on your babys hands

yea thats normal and you want to put something on her hands for the peeling so they aren't dry

totally normal. its fine to lotion them. altho if she's sticking them in her mouth u may wanna put mittens on her hands. i could never get mittents to stay on my son he would pull them off so i just used shirts that had mittens built into them or socks on hands.

put baby lotion on her and a little gloces or a sock over her hand so her hand would be in it and that way she sucks on the sock or glove not her hand. bbut make sure its clean lol
