DOCTORS. vent!

ok so im officially FED UP with this doctor.
NOT ONLY, am i always waiting AT LEAST 40 minutes to be called back there, and then i give my sample, weighed, all that, then they dont even put me in a ROOM. i sit in the WAITING ROOM, for 30 minutes for a room to be ready, and then i wait another 45 MINUTES for the damn doctor to come in.
and then he tells me, oh we cant schedule an induction until you actually TURN 39 weeks, which is on a saturday, just my luck. so now i have to go to an appt MONDAY and be scheduled on from THEN. when he told me last week we could SCHEDULE it FOR monday at this appt.
im so pissed. i want this damn baby out now.

when i went to the doctors it was always atleast a 3 hour ordeal because of all the ridiculous waiting. why do you want to be induced so bad anyway? just be patient.

awwww hun im sorry to hear that, but i know how you feel about waiting forever....my doctor takes forever to come in my room and then he does everything so quickly and doesnt wanna explain s**t...gets on my nerves

why are you in such a hurry.. your not even due for another ten days?

Whats the rush? We all wanted our 'damn' baby's out, at least he's talking induction, a lot of us never got that luxury

i want him out, because im MISERABLE. they said they can legally induce at 39 weeks, and i want too. not only because im miserable, but my due date is my mothers BIRTHDAY, and thats her day. she barely even gets recognition on mothers day anymore.
your not even far enough along yet to be asking me that. just wait until you are 39 weeks.
i also have to go out of town for a wedding and halloween horror nights on the 24th, so i want him out ASAP, for healing purposes and so he isnt only a week old when my sister watches him.

AND i KNOW! i hate how they overbook people, and then are scrambled through out the day. i only need to see him for like 10 minutes!!! and then he wants to get in and out but it seems like he is so much more time consuming with his other patients. its so annoying.

I waited an about two hours last week. When he finally came in he said "oh sorry, the schedule you on my procedure day, and regular OB/GYN appointments come last." why didn't they tell me that when i scheduled the damn appointment. 

I mean the nurse did everything, and he only asked if i had questions. I told him that nurse better get the money that going to go in your pocket for what she did.

I had my daughter AFTER my due date, you think I wasn't miserable?? We're ALL miserable when we're that far along. Don't think you're some seasoned mother because you've been pregnant 38 weeks.

Your moms birthday? Big deal, she'll live with it. I was due the day after my birthday, think I cared if she came on my bday? Hell no, your priorities change when you realize you're going to be a parent, maybe yours haven't changed yet.

Stop being so selfish, whine about it all you want, but don't put your kid in potential danger because YOU'RE miserable.

We've been there & done that. You're not the first nor the last.

really? because that reply wasn't even to you. and potential danger? thats funny because "full term" is 36-37 weeks. hes is a good 8 lbs already, so hes fine thank you.

term is 37 weeks and full term is 40 weeks from what i have read

I know it wasn't directed at me, but you put it in a public place which gives the public the option to respond. I'm the public, I responded.

&No, I don't know how many times I need to repeat this, 36 weeks is still considered premature, 37 weeks is considered term, 40 weeks is full term.

You don't know how much he really weighs, they're just estimates, a girl on here was told her baby was 5 lbs, he came out 9 lbs. Plus, his weight has NOTHING to do with his health, his lungs might not be done forming yet, but you don't care right? We'd HATE for your mom to have to share a bday with someone else.

Seriously, grow the hell up. Put your childs needs before yours, you're going to have to get used to that.

Wow, I went 41 and half weeks before being induced was an option. I survived and gave birth to a healthy baby with mature lungs. Suck it up. Pregnancy is 40 weeks.... sometimes more. Go talk to a mom visiting her premie in a NICU. I'm sure she would have been glad to go 39+ weeks.... uncomfortable and all.

I'm 38, almost 39 weeks and my dr. was supposed to induce me this week. I'm absolutely miserable, I've been in the hospital more than anyone wants, I spent a week in at 31 weeks and they almost took my baby emergency c-section. I have blood work EVERY day and because of the blood clots I've got bruises on my stomach from the NEEDLES that are placed in my belly 3 times a day. I've been on bedrest several times, and I havn't been able to go to work for 2 1/2 months, but my baby is VERY healthy I get to see him every week on an ultrasouund. As long as he's healthy I'll leave him cook for a few more weeks...well..2 more weeks, my dr can have til 11:59pm on the 19th then I will kill him   I understand how miserable things can be, but all the swelling in the world, the back aches, and the contractions, and just being plain uncomfortable will be a faint memory when you hold your little one. Just remember the baby will be here before you know it, enjoy your time feeling them kick you in the lungs, believe it or not you just might miss it.
