Easy Inexpensive Belly Casting/molding

Ok so i have gotten some PM about my belly cast, well bc its in my avi im sure. So here is what we did bc we didn't order a belly casting kit or anything.

We went to Michaels and bought this cool stuff called Rigid Wrap. It is just like the casting material that they used to use for broken limbs. Two rolls did it for me, A large sized roll and the small roll.

Bought Petroleum Jelly at Target (but as we all know anywhere will work and a medium tub will work on the biggest of bellies)

Put the Jelly on you belly but not to thick, just enough to cover it a little and look all shinny, otherwise the casting will slide off.

Cut the pieces, we did squares of the large sized, run them in warm water (its on the directions) and hold still as you do it(breathing makes it harder lol). Our large roll did 2 layers and only takes about 15 minutes to dry enough to remove it. Dh removed it and then re-enforced it with the smaller roll so he could fix my boobs where i was breathing, then put in the over at 200 degrees for about 15-20 mins (also on the Rigid Wrap directions)

it is safe to use while pregnant just be sure to take a shower after words to wash any drops off bc if you have sensitive skin like me it will irritate it but only until you wash it off.

My total cost for my belly cast was $20. and I have seen the kits start out at 30 and higher. A little frustration and one upset 4 y/o later my belly was done, we are going to do it again when I get bigger and do my daughters so she will have a casting of her own.

GOD bless my bra. . . .It was of course a C cup and I am pushing in to an "I" but if ididn't wear it i would have looked like a round ball from the chest down.

Am I correct in thinking the bra needs to be one that you are willing to part with? (just thinking the molding stuff would adhere to it)

it can be one you are willing to part with, it washes out too!!! We put cling wrap on my bra bc I wasn't sure if i wanted to keep it for when I get to where strapless stuff (it holds me up just enough even tho it is WAY to small of a cup).
