Hey. Got a question for all you ladies.

What exactly does it mean if your baby is measuring too big. I went to my doctor's appointment today and I'm 32 weeks 2 days. I'm measuring 34 weeks. Is this bad?

That happend to me and they changed my due date. I got the impression that the doctor guessed the due date wrong.

I was told it was okay to measure 2 weeks ahead or behind without them thinking anything is abnormal.

Me too! I'm measuring almost 3 weeks ahead and I'm 32 weeks right now. I have to go to the perinatologist on Thursday to get a level 2 ultrasound to see how big she is now.

i was 23 weeks and measuring 26 weeks but at the ultrasound the baby was measuring on track....it was just the way he was laying and she didnt change the due date or anything.

They could have been wrong about your date or you're just going to have a big baby. It could also be that your baby had a growth spurt. That happen to me with my daughter. I was 31 weeks measuring 32, but by my next appointment I was on track again. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

It could mean a bigger baby, wrong due date, baby is growing at a faster rate than average this week, you could have a lot of fluid or it could mean nothing. My son was several weeks ahead for most of my pregnant, we all thought he would be huge. He was only 6 lbs when I had him I was all water.
