How much would you pay for this car?

So I'm selling my old car and was wondering what I should sell it for. I looked on the Kelly Blue Book, but its seems like I would be asking for too much. So just curious what you'd pay.
Its a '97 Geo Prizm 4door Sedan
5speed
130,000 miles
Outside is in good condition, no damage or paint damage
inside is a little stained
Cold a/c
I have replaced the clutch, brakes a couple of years ago
am/fm cassette radio
drives great

2000-2200. it's a four cylinder with low mileage... every one is wanting just a little run around car to help with gas prices.what is kbb asking?

You might could get up to 1500 b/c alot of people are buying small cars just to comute in to save on gas money.

I told my sister (for a friend of hers) $1000 and she and my mom says I'm asking too much.

Really depends on what ppl in your area pay for used vehicles.

Timing belts go out at like 120,000 right? or maybe more. I think 1000 is about right.

I did the kbb. Its says its worth $1600 and my mom told my sister friend that kbb is only for car in good condition (thanks mom!) I thought $1600 was too much that why I'm asking for your opinions.

i don't know about timing belts. I know when I would take it in and they said I needed something, I said ok. I've kept of with oil changes and all.

thats not to bad depending on the shape the car is in.

I wouldn't take less than $1000.00. On KBB there is an option to choose which kinda condition your cars in. They base it offa that too. I'd say $1200.00

Thanks everyone, my mom didn't help when she told my sister that KBB is for cars only in top shape. She's not helping by telling her the car is not worth that much. (Dammit, mom!!) Plus this guy that wants the car lost his car in the hurricane. So I want to help but I don't want to give it away.
