Quoting Bmorechick85: for the past 2 hours it felt like the bottom of my stomach was tightening and it hurt sooo bad I couldn't move for a few seconds. is this labor??? It's on and off should i start timing?i would def time them. do you have any of signs of labor?
Quoting MomOf3buttheads: I'd say go for a walk. If it's braxton hicks they'll fade when you're moving. Real labor will get more ... [snip!] ... get more intense. So take a quick hike to the closest store and get a water or something. But time them while you're at it.
Quoting Bmorechick85: i walked from the bedroom tothe bathroom and almost died the pain stopped me in my tracksThat's how it was when I went into labor last time. I had a couple cramping hours and then out of nowhere I was making dinner for the hubby and I and I walked across the kitchen and almost fell over in pain. I forced myself to walk a little more and I wish I had just kept walking because I was only 4 when I got to the hospital and I stopped at 5 and they had to give me pitocin. With my son I walked ALOT! I went up to the hospital 8cm. Walking is the best way to keep labor going and dilate.
