I'd say go for a walk. If it's braxton hicks they'll fade when you're moving. Real labor will get more intense. So take a quick hike to the closest store and get a water or something. But time them while you're at it.

Hmm I would time them if I were you. If you're able to walk around, talk and get on the computer, you're most likely not in labor though.

I thnk you better start timing and call whoever is supposed to get you to the hospital prepared. It may be just BH...but you are past your due date!!!

Good luck dear!

That's how it was when I went into labor last time. I had a couple cramping hours and then out of nowhere I was making dinner for the hubby and I and I walked across the kitchen and almost fell over in pain. I forced myself to walk a little more and I wish I had just kept walking because I was only 4 when I got to the hospital and I stopped at 5 and they had to give me pitocin. With my son I walked ALOT! I went up to the hospital 8cm. Walking is the best way to keep labor going and dilate.

im not sure i never had any pain when i was in labor.... all i felt was pressure on my pelvis (just pressure no pain) and i had to pee like every 2 minutes...... buti would time them if i were you, just be careful because some people can gointo hard laborwithout even knowing it..my sister was dialated to an 8 and was in active labor when she wentinto her40 week checkup and she had no pain or symptoms that she was in labor.....

Time it, you're over due my lady. And walk like the other lady said. Walk and breathe.
