2 months on bedrest and counting....

Hi, My name is Lisa and I am 29w3d pregnant. Came home on July 29th and I have been COMPLETE bedrest ever since. The backaches and hip aches get to me most, especially when resting on my left side. I get proesterone shots every Thursday, another not so bright side to it. Yet I am SO HAPPY that my little man is growing and healthy. I am definitely counting down now!! I have an little angel in heaven, she was with me for 2.5 days last year before going to heaven. She was born at 23w4d, a little shy of 6 months. Last wk was so hard emotionally b/c the mourning and grieving of my daughter Miracle caught up with me. It was hard in beginning of this pregnancyto grieve and be estatic @ the same time.So for the betterment of this baby I guess I've surpressed the missing of my Angel butI guess its catching up with me.N-e-who, a place to share and release! Hey, i get the progesterone shots every thursday as well. So far I havent been on bedrest, so we'll see what happens, and i'm so sorry for your loss

i was on bed rest for 20 weeks. it sucked. but bg helped me. lol good luck

sorry about your loss, but good for you to know you haver to keep going, and yeah!!!!! on the new little one to be, bet you cant wait to get off bed rest, i had a c-sec and had to stay in bed for 4 days i couldnt imagine being on it since july, but hey a mommas gotta do what a mommas gotta do, and you are doing it!!!!!!!!!

Bed rest is very difficult, but since you yourself have experienced a loss, I know that you know how worth it the bed rest is. I have 2 preemies and totally know what you're going through. I hope the bed rest pays off for you and you can have a healthy baby. It's already gotten you to a great point in your pregnancy! Best of luck!

Stupid Question-With bedrest do you stay in bed all day (only up for bathroom and food)? Or can you move around the house and do laundry and stuff. How strict is it?

You're doing good in protecting your little one. Before you know it you will enjoy him and be able to move around as much as you want. And one day be chasing after him! lol

It sucked lol I had Kaden early on June 19th at 35 weeks and he kept trying to come at 29 weeks after I had a really bad UTI at 20 weeks so I was pretty much on bedrest from then on so I feel your pain. Its so hard but we love our little ones so much its worth it! Good luck and God bless

I have been on since Sept. 1st and I am going nuts. I will be on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy. I also take the progestrone shots once a week. I give them to myself and they itch like crazy, my dr says it's cause of the castro oil they store it in. Good luck to you.

It depends on your circumstances. In most cases it means total bed rest, up for bathroom only.

Yeah, I am allowed to go to the bathroom, get a small meal (no cooking, just a quick sandwhich or something) and go upstairs to bed and to shower then I have to be on the sofa the rest of the time. My mom has moved in with me to help me out during the nights and the weekends because I don't have anyone else.

I so know how you feel! I was put on bedrest with 12 weeks left and still had him at 33 weeks. I unfortunlatly did not have BG yet. I did not found out about it until he was like 5 months old. I played games on slingos.com lol. I had my own TV guide I know what came on and when. lol

i so know what your talking about mywater broke at 20 wks so iwas on bedrest at home for amonth and now ive been on bedrest at the hospital for a monthbut you gotta do what you gotta do to save your babies life
