Can someone please tell me why someone is able to have children but still wander if its "ok" to smoke pot while they are pregnant!!?? That to me is just an unusual and dumb question!!?? Am I mean for saying this? I dont know, I dont care. I just get so mad when I see stuff like that!!! Just thought I'd vent!!  

I know a few people that smoked weed while they were pregnant... They and their babies turned out fine, but I don't think that it makes it ok. :-\ I don't know why people are like that..

ohhh... i so agree with you!!!... my friend is 3 weeeks more than me and is still smoking pot and cigs!.... and the thing that pisses me off is her doc said that if she gets stressed from not smoking the baby will to... so its ok... WTF?

I totally agree with you! It's not mean at all..but your probably going to have girls write back on here trying to justify that's it's "not harmful" and argue with you on it...but i agree with you..

some people should be sterile.

I smoked before I got pregnant and I managed to quit just fine. People need to suck it up and quit! I dont think theres any excuse to smoke knowing it could harm your unborn baby.

My friend would smoke all the time before she was pregnant and in the very beginning too. Shes now 29 weeks with twins and she told me yesterday that she smoked weed about a month ago. I was so shocked. I just cant imagine doing that to my baby! I cant stand girls that do it

I understand your frustration, but there are exceptions to every rule. I have a friend that found out she has cancer she is in her 2nd trimester. She does have permission from her doc to smoke "medicinal" marajuana. She is in a ton of pain, and only has one or two drags when she start vomitting from pain. It is such an awful thing, but the only way until the baby is born. She will be having her baby early they gave steroid shots to help develop baby's lungs, and they will deliver the baby by 34 weeks.

i quit smoking cigs the DAY i found out... its not that hard!

I'm really proud of a girlfriend of mine... she smoked pot everyday, and as soon as she found out she was pregnant she stopped and hasn't touched it since. It's been a year, and she says she's not going to do it anymore.

She's not all "I'm holier than thou" or anything... she just doesn't want to get back into it. She's all about baby and doing really good with breastfeeding.
