Really worried [TMI]

I just went to the bathroom, and when I wiped there was really red blood. .like I just started my period. It's not coming from my vagina, I checked, trust me. .my heart dropped the second I saw that blood and it wasn't just a little   Is it possible to have a bleeding hemroid? It didn't keep bleeding, it was just the blood on the toilet paper when I wiped. I'm really worried. I don't have any pain or anything other then a knot in the pit of my stomach  
What should I do?

uhhh.. call your doctor or go through emergency would be the best the answer I could give.

Just wait it out. Or if your really concerned call your OB or make a trip to the ER.

i also had bleeding!.. but it was coming from my vagina... i have a low lying placenta.... but i have read that hemmorids bleed really red!

You can bleed from a hemmie... I have... it sucked... but, if it is coming from your vag, I'd call your doc. Good luck.

Sounds like a hemmeriod, call your doc and ask them for advice and see if you need to go in and get checked out they can provide you with hemmeriod cream

You can call your doctor, but don't waste your time going to the ER. You most likely have hemorhoids inside. I just had my yearly exam on 9-22 and I have bleeding. It does not hurt and is bright red. (I had an anal fissure PP after my first baby and that HURTS!!) Because there is no pain, and because of my experience with something much worse, I knew that I could wait to ask. My doctor said this, "If there is no pain, it is most likely an interal hemorhoid bleeding. Soaking in warm water will help and it will go away on it's own." He also said if I didn't want to wait for it to go away, I could go see a GI. However, all of the medicines that you can take to speed up the healing are category 3 and leak into breast milk.... (so for me, I won't do it...) Let me know if there is anything else you want to know.

From what I've always heard, bright red blood from that area usually isn't anything to be too concerned about. It probably is a hemorrhoid.If the blood is dark or almost black, then it's digested blood and that's a problem. But as always, call your doc.

That's the only reason I'm not too worried because I don't have any pain. I swear my heart broke the second I saw that blood though, I'm not feeling pregnant at all but that made me realize how much I already love my baby. .my heart is still beating fast. Thank you for that info.I guess I'll go take a warm bath.

I had that happen a few times before and my DR said it was caused by either an internal hemmroid or constipation, he just prescribed me stool softeners for it and it seems to help.

You can also use Tucks pads (witch hazel) to wipe. Ask your doctor, but you can use hydrocortosone, too, once a day... (put a dab on the pad and wipe with it). I know it's TMI, but sometimes we have to talk about these things... I have been bleeding for at least 2 mos. now... (I am 4.5 mos. PP)... Somedays it seems to be getting worse, but I just need to wait it out. I bled for 6 mos. with PAIN after having my first child... so while this is uncomfortable, I told my doc. that I would hang in there, unless it began to hurt or continued for 6 mos. or more.
