want to be home with baby.

I so want to work from home.I hate being away from my baby 40hrs a week!!I thought I was gonna have a break down when I came back to work.I didn't but I was so emotional weeks before I had to come back!I sure most mommies would rather be at home too,but I know so that have to get away and love having a full time job with a young baby. That's cool but it's just not me,I did not want my maternity leave to end!Just wondering how anyone else feels about this.Did any plan on returning to work, but ending up not going back?or going back just part time instead of full time?

I was going to go back.. but then decided I wanted to stay at home with Jocelyn. It just broke my heart thinking that I would leave her with someone & that person would see all her firsts! I'm so glad I've stayed at home with her for the 1st year.. it was such a learning experience for myself & her!! =) But now, I'm getting the working "itch"... haha I'd love to go back ASAP!

Yeah,I know I wanna see all her firsts. My mom and other family watch her which is great! If they didn't I wouldn't have gone back at all! But,I just her all day long.I really wanted to be home with her the first year and then maybe I would be ready like you said.

I plan on opening up my own dog grooming shop out of my house. Hubby and I are looking into buying one right now and I actually don't need to much equipment, so I'll be able to stay home and make some extra money on the side.

I was going to go back as well but I'm actually excited about becoming a stay at home mommy. It saves us mommy until baby is ready for school. No daycare payments. Everyone isn't fortunate to be able to stay home, so I don't take it for granted. I thank God every day. It's a blessing and I'm very much looking forward to my due date.

I am totally feeling your pain. My daughter has only been in day care for two weeks. I was on mat leave for two months and then workedpart time at night for two months while her father watched her and put her to bed. I had high anxiety the first week but it gets better I swear and it makes the weekends totally treasurable.

I went back to work for a month and couldn't stand the job. Not possible to go back to the job before I was pregnant hours are way tooo messed up but they call me every couple months tellling me I can come back whenever I want.

Also day care is way tooooo expensive here.

I work at home at chacha.com don't make much, but my bf check covers all the bills and crap.

i was plannin onggoing back until i had her. now after working out the financial stuff im going back to work 2 days a month. DH knows how important it is for me to be with her adn as long as i can make my car payment i dont have to work. I was so upset with the thought of leaving her. i give all working moms a lot of credit becuse i dont think i could do it. that couple days i work will be on days that my husband is off so we dont have to pay for a sitter.

I never want it to end. I am supposed to go back within the next couple weeks and I am postponing it as much as possible. (I am supposed to go back and starting training to becomea manager (working 50hours/week) --But I also want to start selling MK products so if that goes well, I am going to quit my part-time job and be able to be at home more with trinity.

Go look! Not to be rude, but you will understand better if you look at the website.

I originally planned to go back to work.

I've done nanny work for the last 15 years and originally planned to find a job I could bring my child to work with me.

But once my dd was here, the idea of having to juggle breastfeeding and someone else's child was very unappealing. Thankfully my husband makes enough for us to get by without me working. We will no longer have extra money for frivolous things, but I feel it's a very small sacrifice for someone so priceless to me. She is everything to me.
