Hairy situation!!!

My son recently visited his daddy's family, we're not the best of friends but I wont hold my son back from his family. Mind you his daddy half takes care of him and doesn't get to see him { he only went over there lastweekend because his great granny asked for him} I feel that he can't override my decisions! I have decided to let my sons hair grow because it was cute and makes him stand out, I take care of it...... and pay to have it wash and trimmed {the whole 9 yards}... He has the nerve to tell me that next time their going to the barber shop!  It is fine to get an edge up but not a full hair cut, am I wrong? I feel that he can take that money and catch up some child support or go cut his own hair NOT MY SON'S!

In my honest opinion, I think that looks like a girl's hairstyle. However, it should not just be one parent's choice on how to handle their child's hair. I will say that my son's father will probably decided how we keep his hair, simply because I'm sure he wants to be like his daddy. But you should talk to him and let him know how you feel about it and maybe see if you two can comprimise.

He doesn't take care of him, and I think he's trying to do this out of spite. I take care of my son all by myself. I could probably see his POV if I didn't take care of it and had it nappy, but I don't.....

I know what you mean, my son's father let's his mom take care of him on his weekends. I don't know your situation, my son's father and I aren't together, but I still feel like he has a right to be involved in things like that. But, like I said..I don't know your situation.

I like his hair the way it is. I don't see a problem with it as long as you don't let him go looking a mess. Which I know you don't b/c his hair is always super cute esp. the mohawk he had.

Thanks buddy! The sad part is..... he's just trying to spite me because he knows I want him to keep it! He has braids so I don't get why my son can't have hair 2?

I don't understand why he doesn't like his hair if his own hair is long. That is crazy, it probably is spite then. Crazy men. Do you think he really will cut it when your not around? I would be so pissed.

If he was there for my son (took care of him and actually picked him up for visitations) I would give him a say- so. Unfortunatley he doesn't and my son hasn't seen him in forever, only when his family has him and my sons father happens to stop by their house and notices" damn there's one of my kids" does he see him. That's why i say he can't tell me nothing!

Yes, just to piss me off! And if I did ask him to keep chris he would say "yeah i'm cutting his hair" just so I can say no nevermind then, he's so pitiful!!!!! I would hurt him really bad if he did!!!
