posted 6th Oct
Any of you talented creative women know how to make headbands? i have been making sarah her bows and i wanted to make her some headbands as well but i don't know how to make them. Like the cotton ones or the crochet ones i have looked everywhere online and didn't find anything please let me know i am going to my moms this week and she has a sewing machine thanks

I make them and you don't even need a sewing machine... just a hot glue gun...
get some knee highs.. they are nice and strechy and comfy for baby... you cut off the toe and the top and make it into a circle... glue it together.. then put a length of ribbon around where you attached it. this way you can attach any bows you want to the headband... kinda confusing?! but it's really easy!

The fabric doesn't need to be stretchy because of the elastic. They are easy to do. I actually hand sew mine right now. You can measure the babys head from ear to ear going over the top of the head, did that make sense? Figure out the type of design you want, meaning width. I have a piece of cardboard that I use as my sample to cut the fabric. Then sew the 2 long sides then turn the fabric right side out. Cut a piece of elastic and tuck the material under a little on both side and sew the elastic. If this doesn't make sense let me know and I can take better pics to show you
