Jail

Jaime has court today and i was just wondering if anyone knew whether you think he is going to go to jail today or not..

He got pulled over a few weeks ago because someone shot at his truck by my house... Well when they pulled him over they were like awwwwwwwww are you okay? Well then they saw he was *DUN DUN DUN* mexican right? Soooo they started in. (Where I live it's a small rich little town and 97 percent of the population is white.. so they are needless to say rather racist.) So the cops were like.. Do you have a license? (No.) Do you have a social security card? (Idk) So where ya from.... MEXICO? (Shrug.. Someplace from there yes.) So you're illegal huh? You're illegal aren't you? (Shrug... I don't know.) Well we just pulled your dad's file and it looks like your going back to mexico with him..

Well they were basically just being really rude and racist.. But all the cops except one (there were   were like let's just take him we know where he's going if we take him to jail come on... And one cop was like naa let's just give him a ticket.. So they gave him a ticket for a suspended license...

SOO What do you think do you think he's gonna go to jail today after court?

i would be more afraid of him being sent to Mexico!! Is he here illegally? I was a little confused

Well. yeah.. that IS what I'm worried about lol.. If he does go to jail then he does go to mexico lol... they don't just send you straight to mexico they keep you in jail first :-(

Nah I dont think he'll go to jail but once thats over get the fuck out of that state. Some places r nicer to illegal hispanics. Like here. They arent mean to them.

it depends on the judge really. some judges are nice, some....like to be pricks. I dont know how it works where you're from, but here, there is a huge long process before someone is sentensed, and it usually takes months. Theres a hearing...where they just go through the charges so both parties (guilty and prosecutor)know whats up, then they MIGHT havce the plea in the same day...they might set a new date for the plea. If he pleads not guilty, they'll set a day for trial, and give him time to prepare, then the day of the trial comes, after the trial theyll set a date for the findings, if hes found guilty, theyll have to have time to do a presentencing report, which could take weeks, and then once that is done, theyll bring him back for sentencing. if he pleads GUILTY, they can skip the trial, and just do the presentensing and then make a date to sentense him. Thats just how it works in canada though. my ex hasnt finished his court process and its been sionce july 2006. he keeps avoiding it. he hasnt showed for trial 2 times...i think he should just be locked up and have the key thrown away.

So he IS illegal and the cops are racist for giving him a ticket for not having a license? I'm confused. I'm white and didn't renew my license in time and got a ticket for it. Is that racist?

Well if he's here illegally then he will be deported. I don't see how the cops were being racist by asking him if he was here illegally or not. I'm not trying to be rude but it's kind of in their job description to find out that kind of stuff.

I don't think he will go to jail over a suspended license ticket. Is it his first one? They will probably just fine him.

why doesnt he become a us cit?

Well Im confused. If he is not a legal citizen, shouldnt he know that? And he didnt have a license. So he was in the wrong. I dont know that that means he will go to jail though.

Here they would just deport him.

i hate that! my b/f (who is also mexican) and i got pulled over one nite because he accidently ran a redlight...it was laaattttteeee and we had just gotten off work and he was takin me home...and anyways....the cop just asks him to step out of the truck and AUTOMATICALLY was like "where are you going??" "do u have drugs in the vehicle??" "who is this girl with you???" ( as if i were being kidnapped or sumthing!) and he didnt ask for anything...except for insurance on the vehicle. and since he JUST GOT the truck the DAY before he didnt have a tag or anything for it yet. thankfully the cop let us go but damn i was pissssssed cuz if it were any other NON mexican guy then he wouldnt have asked him to step out of the vehicle, or pat him down for weapons, or ask to search the truck for drugs (he made me lift the middle console so he could check it)..... i was so pisssed!



but as for what will happen to ur b/f after court...idk? sorry. but i kno that one of my b/fs friends got arrested for dui or sumthing but he got out the next day. all they had to do was bail him out. he is mexican and all of the papers that the court/cops did all said the was white lol i denno
