I came across this ad... I'm not going to reply to it or anything, I was just wondering... Are surrogate mothers usually the ones who's eggs they use? Or is it usually they just kind of... 'rent' the womans body, but no eggs?

I don't know if I could be a surrogate mother, but I definately couldn't be one if it was MY eggs.... That'd be my child!!!

This ad is looking for a traditional surrogate where they use the surrogates eggs. If they don't use her eggs its called gestational carrier.

Surrogate mother carries anothers baby, depending on the situation, and what type of surrogate mother you choose to be the egg may be yours or from a donor or the expected parents themselves. There are two different types of surrogate mothers traditional and gestational. You can research each one if you are considering it. I was going to become a surrgoate mother, but there is so much more involved not just oh i'm going to be carrying someone elses baby and there paying me. Its a long stressful process, I didn't go through with it b/c there is so much drama in people taking advantage of those who can't have kids, and they didn't want my son to be apart of anything I did he would need a babysitter and I'm a SAHM for a reason I don't have anyone to watch my son and wouldn't want anyone to watch him till he can talk so yea there alot alot alot into psychological work, testing, blah blah blah so do some research

Thanks guys, I was just curious   I have thought about what it would be like to be a surrogate... As of right now I wouldn't be suitable, but one day maybe... But I definately couldn't do it if it was being an egg donor.... I'd find it waaay too emotional...

depends on how strapped I was for cash........ I heard they pay really well.....
anything to keep food on the table........ but in my normal situation I couldn't give an egg either.
