Cofused about pregnancy test..

First of all, hello   I'm new to this website, I just registered.

I was hoping that you ladies could help me out! I haven't had my period, so I started to suspect that I could be pregnant. I have been experiencing nausea, yet I have not thrown up and I had some mild cramping a few days ago that made me suspect that I was going to have my period but no go. Usually, if I ever do get cramping around my period I get it a day or two afterwards. For the past few days I also feel hotter than usual, almost like I have a fever but I'm not sick

On Friday I went to the dollar store and got a pregnancy test, the New Choice brand. When I did it, it looked like there was a very faint line in the "test" section. Since it was so faint and I wasn't sure of what the outcome was... I went back today. Tonight I took another pregnancy test and there are two lines, the one in the "test" part is very faint - it is pink and it appeared within 3 minutes. It does not look like an evaporation line. I came back into my room, drank a bit of water and about 30 minutes I took another test to see no line in the "test" area. I'm not sure if drinking water may have diluted my urine to make it not appear or if it's just negative all around? If I am pregnant, I would be very early into my pregnancy.

Any help on this would be appreciated and I look forward to meeting new friends on here!

hello and welcome...take a better test the walmart brand did it for me its like 5 bucks here...lots of babydust

either go get a blood test or go get another one tomarrow and wait until the next morning and take it!

The first three tests I took (spread out over 2 days) all had a faint line, so faint I had to ask hubby if I was seeing things, and Im very much preggo! Congrats!

Buy a different test (first response is a good one) and take it in the morning, the first morning urine will give you a better result.

i so understand your pain... i was supposed to get my period around sept 20 but that was a no go i took 4 tesr a walgreens test and 3 first response and all negative but yet no period!! im so confused!

welcome! try using a diffrent test and try taking it right in the morning when you wake up.

Buy a digital test before you go crazy. They are much easier to read.

Might wanna try another kind of test, also, if it is really early in your pregnancy your HCG levels might not be high enough yet to show up on the test..its also better to test first thing in the morning when your urine is more concentrated. Good luck!

i took the dollar store ones and a walmart one and the were very faint...i actually thought the first one was negative but turns out it wasnt...im 17 wks today and i took one recently to take pics of bc i thought it wuld be darker and it was still so faint...just wait a couple days...thats wat i did but if u saw any positive lines i say yeah your pregnant....WELCOME to baby gaga

Get another test and do it in the am. If your on a tight budget (like I was) you can try the wal-mart brand. I recommend (SP?) it because that's what I took and it was obviously positive before I could put it down to wait the minute or two. I hear digital tests work great if you want to try that though.
