what do you use! a couple questions

Im a first time parent and really dont know what to get,but I want to breastfeed but i also want bottle feed but i dont know which or what brand to use. i have a couple questions about finding the right bottle

may questions may sound kind of silly but work with me

1] can you pump milk and put it into any bottle or is their certain bottles that you have to use for formula and breastmilk??

2] if their is certain bottles for formula and or breastmilk which ones did you use!

3]What brand bottle do you think is the best?

4] what do you look for in bottles

*watching* I was wondering the same things.

You can use anytime type of bottle if you plan to exclusively pump. If you plan to switch from breast to pump try to find a bottle that mimics the breast to try to deter nipple confusion. I tried breast flow I believe they are called by the first years when I was still trying to BF.

I exclusively BF right now. I pumped a few time and I bought the Playtex Drop-Ins. You pump right into them, store them, then put them on the bottle. No pouring b/t anything. They rock! Plus, it's clinically proven to reduce colic.

U can use any type of bottle if you just plan on pumping. If you plan on switching between the two get a bottle with a nipple thats similar to your own. I used playtex drop-ins and they worked pretty good for me.

I'm going to bottlefeed & my choice of bottles r the Playtex disposable liner kind.  I was told that it is the closest thing to the breast.

ok i was told that dr browns bottles are good and i got those at first so im just going to go and try the playtex then

i probably would have gotten the dr. brown bottles too, but living over here in germany, buying the parts to the bottle is hard b/c they dont sell the parts here.  there is a big limit on american things here, i hate it!
