poor thing was just hungry

After almost 3 months of trying EVERYTHING to figure out what is wrong with my baby girl and thinking day in and day out what she could be trying to tell me, I landed on the fact that she is still hungry! And it's not for formula! It's for the good stuff! Sweet Taters!!! I gave her some a couple days ago she scarfed them! She didn't even do the normal thing babies do, taste then spit them out, she just sucked them down! Ever since then she has been soooo happy! It's amazing! She lets me know when she's done and if she's not done and I try and take them away she fusses and tries to suck them off her bib

do you know that kids aren't suppose to have solids any earlier than 4 months? it could give them really upset tummies

the safest age to start at is at or a round 6 months

I have 3 kids.....I know the drill.

I understand that dr's went to school and stuff but doesn't anyone rely on their intuition anymore? My mom told me i'd know when Maddy was ready for stuff(ceral, solids, etc). And I did know when formula alone wasn't enough. We started ceral a little over 3 months and solids around 3.5(just fruit) and we've never had a problem. Not harping or anything but sometimes you have to rely more on your gut instict than what a dr says.

ok... i noticed that, but i also noticed your baby wasn't even 3 months old yet, just makin sure, parents will do what they want to anyways!

my lil man is just shy of 4 month (2 days) and he is getting some cereal by spoon and fuit and veggies...either mixed in with the cereal or along...but only 1 time a day around dinner....and he loves them.....he was eating over 50oz of formula and really fussy around 6pm bc he was just way to hungry....now he is much happier

exactly! I trust my gut waaay more than the pedi! The fact that I have had 3 kids helps me alot, I wouldn't have done this with my first cause I didn't know, but what your mom said was right, you will know.

yes I know in most cases it isn't necessary. thank you, though.
