Baby shower vent.

I just am so annoyed right now. But lately I've been getting annoyed at everything.

Today is my baby shower in about 2 hours.

My SIL is supposed to be here helping my mom get everything ready. And I've done a lot too.

Well we just called her because she was supposed to be here an hour ago to find out where she was.

And she's at the mall with her friends.

I guess I'm just really annoyed because my mom and I did her entire baby shower. And she's known about this for 2 months. She was here YESTERDAY and we reminded her again. 4 days ago she was over helping to make favors.

And she goes on and on about how much she wants to help, and then this.

I'm just feeling really stressed out. Because there is still decorating and some food prep that needs to be done. And she's at the mall after promising and promising to be here.

BLAH on pregnancy hormones!

it's not just the hormones! i'd be pretty pissed off too; she should be more considerate, and could have at least told you she would be late.

Maybe she's getting you a gift. Wait and see, and if not, then be pissed.

It's not even that she's going to be late. It's the fact that she's not even going to be here til the shower starts now. Because she 'forgot'.
