i need your help

Ladies. I need your help. A very good friend of mine just lost her baby. She went in for her first u/s and at first they told her everything was fine, printed out pictures for her, the whole bit... then came back, said they needed to look again, and they told her the baby had no heart beat. She and her husband are devastated. The baby is not leaving her body, so she is facing a d&c...
I just feel aweful for her. I really want to do something nice for them, but Im not real sure how close she wants to be to me right now because of my son (totally understandable).
What can I do for her?

So sad. I'm sorry for your poor friend. I have a friend who just delivered her baby at 23 weeks and he didn't make it. I struggled with the same things you're feeling about what to do or say for her.

I'm not sure there's anything you can do except gently let her know you're there for her when she needs you... I'd probably send a handwritten note to tell her you're thinking of her and that if she needs anything at all, you'd love to help.

ALL you can do is tell her you are sorry, and you are here for her if she needs you.
Anything else could upset her.

I'm sorry for their loss too.

Offer to be there for her. I wish I had a friend do that when i went through my M/C. None tried to talk to me til they had a problem. Thats all I can think of. Try to be there for them. They need friends and family there for them.

See if anyone can watch your son and myabe just see if you can bring her a meal of some sort and i dont know if she is religious or u are but something that helped me when i lost my second was a book from the christian store called I will hold u heaven and it was stories and way of grieving so i dunno if that helps but space and time to process it all is might be what u just wanna give her to

She is not too religious... She mentioned to me she was so hurt and angry when her sister suggested "god had a different plan for her baby" So i think ill stay away from anything religious...
Kyle said something to me when I told him that rubbed me the wrong way...
He said 'Why did God let us have our baby, but not her?'
Im not very religious, but I refuse to believe that God decides whose babies make it and whose dont... She would have made an AMAZING mother!
