Register to vote!

Hooray for voting! I'm already registered and plan on voting this year  

so since ive never voted (cuz im only 20)....where am i supposed to go to vote? is it anywhere in my town where they have it set up? or do i have to go to the place WHERE i registered?

When you register to vote you are given a precinct number which tells you where you are supposed to cast your ballot. When you get your voter ID card it should have a web site which can tell youwhere you are supposed to go...Normally it would be at a fire station, post office, or a community center...It's really easy to look up...You could probably register at your DMV and get your card the very same day, that's what I did...

im alrdy registered (or should be) b/c i did it my senior year of highschool in 2006...but i just filled out a card and gave it to my teacher and she was supposed to send it off....but thats the last thing ive heard about it.....??

ok ill check that...but no, not that i kno of.. i assume it should have been mailed...but ive never gotten anything back...unless it was mailed to the school....to which i havent even been back to since i graduated! lol but that kinda worries me now..cuz i never really thought about it (duh! me) til now...

Uh oh! Then you may want to re-register just in case since you don't have your voter ID card...I think you have til October 25 in your state to register, so you've got some time...

ok well that website said that i was registered to vote in alabama but didnt say anything about a voter ID card...it had a list of acceptable IDs such as drivers license, ss card, medicaid card, birth certificate, etc......

and it said that it would send me an email when there is a list of places for me to vote at on Nov 4
