3.7GPA!!!

posted 4th Oct
Well my last post was about me getting my HS diploma. I did it and I'm still overly excited about it. My question is when you started college or a university, how did you do? I am having weird feelings about it. I was to start college but I have no idea even what to do. I want to be a ultra sound tech. I don't even know what school has a program like that... this blows. I have time though but if anyone have any input what can help me out please let me know.

Thanks and have a good day/night!

I thought my first year was soooo easy. My hs was way hard so when I got to college I felt like I did half the work and got straight A's. I had a 3.8 my first year

I'm really scared for some reason, like I am going to fail everything.... I only plan on taking a couple classes. Maybe online? Who knows. We only have one car now and I rather watch Lily then have someone watch her including family... not including my husband.

I'm taking a lot of online classes now, but my freshman year I had to drop my one I signed up for. I had no motivation. Online classes require you to be really motivated and able to teach yourself. Some classes online are really really easy. Others are so incredibly hard. It's kind of hit or miss with them. They are deff really convinent though.

Hey hon, since I'm in college, thought I'd give your a few opinions..

1st you have to finish your prerequisite which can be finished at any community colleges or universities. Although to save money community college would be best. The only differences universities you get to experience the big class, can't even have a one on one with professor, and the party life on campus!

2nd after the prerequisite has finished then you can transfer to any colleges that offers your major. Start looking at your local community college at the career office or ask the counselors to help you find the right college with your major.

3rd once you get accepted by the college your major will be smooth sailing!

Food for though: Online colleges is a great idea too if your thinking of staying home. I'm currently taking online courses at Capella University which is the best choice I've ever made!

Good luck!
