I need your help!!!

posted 3rd Oct
my son got his 2 month shots today and now he is crying non stop and feels warm to the touch and he really just seems like he is in a lot of pain... I looked up the tylenol for infants chart and I was just wondering if this is the right amounts to give him...

it says

11-16lbs= .8ml (my son is 14.6 lbs)

I just dont like using medicine but I want to make him feel better... I want to double and triple check that, that amount is right...

*editied* this is where I found the information: http://www.askdrsears.com/html/8/T089101.asp

If you aren't comfortable medicating him, I'd give hime half of what it says to give him. It will take the edge off.
Just keep taking his temp. It can get pretty high after they gets their shots.

yup it's ok to give him the drops. He will be able to relax a little once it's kicked in. My daughter's 4 month shots are nearing and I am not looking forward to them.........she had an ordeal with her 2 month shots.

Good luck mommy!

Did you give him any tylenol before the shots? I gave my son some 30 mintues before he got the shots and he did really well with them. Just a suggestion for next time if you didnt do it this time.
