in all honesty. I really appreciated the gifts of diapers and wipes the most. Sure the cute clothes were great. But reality is, most of the time little babies spend in sleepers!

really well me and my boyfriend have been buying diapers every week for about a month so were pretty prepared with that

Well what is it that you want? Is there something special you have your heart set on? Would having someone make you a week or two worth of frozen meals be something you would like?
Really babies are pretty simple when they come home. Not a lot of special things required.

I found having her swing very helpful in the beginning. Swaddle me's are great, regular swaddling/receiving blankets are fine also. Bottles, pacifier, burp cloths, diapers, wipes, breast pump if breastfeeding, nursing pads (whether breastfeeding or not, your milk will come in either way). A boppy is great to have. In all honesty, you don't need a TON during the first weeks, but it's better to have everything set up so you don't hav eto go out and buy/set up a complete nursery after the baby is born...it's easier to get everything done before you have a baby in tow

Agreed. I've just been buying cute sleepers lol. Even when you take them out as newborns, they're in sleepers.
