mucus plug?

So every time I've been to the bathroom since about 11am (its now 3pm where I'm at) when I wipe, I have a clear gooey discharge? on the toilet paper. I'm assuming this is the mucus plug comming out? Is this normal to have it 'leak out' and be 3 cm dilated? I'm hoping it is, but at the same time I'm afraid I'll miss my nephews first soccer game tomorrow!!

Same here.But im wondering if its because they checked me 3 times lastnight and im only 2 cm.So i think i could jst be spotting?!?!?

sounds like the plug.
dont worry sweetie.. just because it comes out ..doesnt allways mean youll go right into labor.. i was 4cm dialated 85% effaced 3wks before i went into labor.. so just relax.. it could happen in a few hours.. days weeks.. even.. its all up to your baby unfort.  hopefully they like soccer games   haha

that was probably your plug!!! mine came out, wasnt really gonna call the doctor but it had blood in it...turns out i was 3.5 cm dialated at the hospital, got discharged bc i didnt want to be there if i wasnt in pain..had him the next afternoon!!

oh wow, so it could be as soon as tomorrow, or 3 weeks from now?! I'm not so sure what to do about my nephews game... its an hour away, but I dont want to miss it! He's 6 yrs old and so excited about it..

are u spotting or leaking. or having any contractions??
bc if your not doing any of those things.. you should be ok
just make sure u keep your bladder empty so u dont annoy your uturus.. and drink plenty of fluids..

Ive been having contractions, that started yesterday after the doctor did his exam. I wasnt feeling them before that though. And I've been having god awful pains in my crotch area. I was leaking last week, my doctor said I would be okay, just make sure if it happens again, to get to the ER. No signs of blood yet though.

well id say go.. if you think you can make it.. bc u knwo your body .. better then i do.. yeah anytime they check you.. from here on out.. youll probally get more and more contractions starting.. bc it strips the membranes little by little.. and releases oxytoxin.. which is the LABOR.. hormone.. your body produces.. well DUH.. sorry.. its beinga RN setting in haha.. but as long as u rest from now til then.. and make sure u stretch out and stuff.. during the hr drive.. and keep up on fluids u should be fine.. atleast until after the game..

well mine fell out at 32 weeks but it wasnt a bloody show or anyting and then it fell out again 1 day before i hit 37 weeks! and thats when i had him..i had a premie baby! i read and heard that a mucus plug can fall out and regenerate again..lol..if youre that concerned, you should call l&d!!! i wasnt gonna call but my fiance kept buggin me..thank goodness i did bc if not, i probably would have had the baby at home! lol
