Movie help

Buttface is off work. I feel bad for him, the baby didn't recognize him and he was sad about it. They're getting along just fine now though.  Anyhow, he was talking about movies that came outearlier this year that he wants to see. I want to buy them for him when they go to dvd for a surprise, but you can see the trouble of that, when neither of us know the titles. One movie he said was like Pan's labryinth or based off of it, like bridge to terabithia, but somewhat scary, with monsters. The other one was the one about mayans that came out kinda around the time the happening came out. He was also saying that the one that was about the mayans came from the director of the cell. Anyone know the titles??

brigde to terabithia is disney, and has nothing to do with Pan's Lab. Altho both are very good movies. But pan's lab. is the scary one. Which wasnt really scary, but it was really good, even for a subtitle movie. And im not sure on the mayan movie.... try imdb.com(might be imbd.com) but its a movie site. very awesome site

My guesses would be Hellboy II, which is from the director of Pan's Labryinth and the other one sounds like 10,000B.C.

Either the Ruins or Apocalypto maybe.  The Ruins sucked though...I waited until it came out on DVD to see it because my hubby was deployed when it came out.  I was so disapointed with that movie.  Apocalypto was awesome.  I hope this helps.

they're selling those at walmart for like 7-13 dollers
