Superman is coming HOME!!!

I thought this day would never get here, the day when I know my little Josh is coming home. After 119 days in the NICU, he is coming home to be with mommy & daddy. We are scheduled to room in Friday and Saturday and he will he home SUNDAY!!!!! All the tears, and all uncertainty all those hard days in the NICU are over. He is 5lbs now and doing awesome.
He is going home on: Oxygen (.1 flow) and Monitors ugh
Actigal for his liver
Prevacid for Reflux
30 cal formula for weight gain
I am sooo excited!THANK YOUfor your kind words through this rough time in my life. I always knew that no matter what kind of day I was having, I could always come to BG and vent, cry, ask, celebrate, everything.
Now I'm joining the joys of having a preemie at home  
It wont be the easiest thing, BUT I know we can get through anything with my little Superman

I too am tearing up looking at your profile. Thanks for sharing it with BGG. Your son was born four days after my daughter and I am so happy that he's here and healthy and coming home with you. God bless you and your family and I wish you and your family the best!

Joshua was born on June 8....I was due on 9/9. He was IUGR (Intra uterine growth restricted) and reverse diastolic flow. Basically, he was not getting the nutrients he needed so he was not growing and it was causing me to have high blood pressure. He was born weighing 15 oz. He was 26 weeks 5 days gestation. He did great for 3 weeks and then we almost lost him to an infection. My little boy fought hard to stay with us

I got teary eyed writing it! It seems like it took forever, I am so excited and nervous

His bed, his room, his everything has been readysince he was born and FINALLY he will get to see it, sleep in it, smell his house. he has not been there in such a long time. .I hope he likes it lol!
