isn't it weird that....

the day of the week that has the most births, by far, is tuesday?....and the lowest amount of births happen on the weekend?....due to the fact that cesareans are not scheduled on weekends....AND....that most unneeded cesareans happen at the END of doctor's shifts?....something to think/talk about!

but yea, I think alot of C sections/inductions are scheduled so that a doctor wont miss his game of golf on the weekend.

My doctor only schedules c-sections on tuesdays, haha. That was he is specifically out of the office that day, not running back and forth. Then the other doctor in the practice does his c-sections on wednesdays. haha.

I am scheduled for induction next Thursday and since my Dr. said it is necessary I then asked him well can I go Tuesday the 7th because my daughters would be 7 years and1month apart to the date (9/7/07 my dd bday) he said they were too full but if a cancelation came in the hospital would call me, lol I just thought that was crazy!!

That's funny because I go next Tuesday for a scheduled c-section.My other two were necessary inductions and they were on a Friday and a Wed.This little shit is breech so I have no choice, and unfortunately our small hick town hospital allows our doctor only 1 Tuesday every month for scheduled surgeries(he is a gyno too, so not all sections).

Both of my kiddos were born on a Sunday by their choice.

Kevin was due on a tuesday but came 9 days later on a Thursday. The practice that I go to has 5 doctors and each one has a certain day of the week they do c-sections.

I was born on a Monday. 10 days late, haha.

I was two weeks early which is kinda late considering I was a twin. My mom was so sad. The docs kept telling her that she'd deliver really early because we were twins. We were born 11 days before our due date

I came late. I was stubborn. My mom went into the hospital SIX times, swearing she was in labor. haha.

I am due on a Wednesday but my husband is hoping I have the baby on Christmas Eve because that is his birthday! But my Dr already said he doesn't want to be at the hospital then which is understandable. So maybe he will induce me (if needed) on 12/23 which would be a Tuesday!!

i was due on march 16th, which that year was a Monday, but I was 16 days late, and was born on April 1st, a Wednesday.
Now, my son last year was induced on a Friday night, but I had him at 4:40 on Saturday morning.
and this baby is due on a Sunday next year.
