winter first birthday parties

My daughter's first birthday isn't for a couple months, but I am looking for tips and advice on what to do forwinter birthdays since we obviously can't have it outside. (to cold in MN) Thank you!

My daughter will barely be able to walk if at all by winter. It's her first birthday. lol

my sons birthday this year it was raining and it was planned at being at the park, so last minute I moved it to chuck-e-cheese, which was crazy expensive, so you could do a pizza party at pizza hut or something like that

maybe an open house with hot cocoa and home made cookies instead of cake and you could decorate with snowflakes. And dresses are soo cute in the winter.

Indoor pool! Make it a luau. That's exactly what people want when it's all cold outside and people are into the holidays. That would be so fun and different!

we are having an open house at home for anyone who wants to pop in whatever time they can- we are having food all day and then cake and ice cream and then presents- I wanted it to be homey for her and everyone else- since it will be mostly adults anyway.
