You're right it does... it's just more of coming to terms with it right now... it's still a new thing for her to think about..

no i am very proud of him. he is very passionate about his job and always strives to be a better person. i know ill be fine without him but im just confused because i thought he decided not to do it. so i was looking forward to having him home for a while

I know its hard, hun... Just remember, he WILL be coming home. Just be thankful of that. You and your child is what keeps him going. It's what gets him threw the day. It's hard as hell to be away from family. I mean, life goes on without him and he has to come back and adjust to the fact that he has lost so much time with his family that he can never get back. Its just as hard on him as it is on you. I've been a soldier in a combat support unit for 3 years now. And i'm married to a military man. It almost seems that we never see each other because one of us if not both of us are always gone. Its a hard life and it take a strong woman/man to live it. I understand you being mad and upset. I would be too. But all we can do is show our support no matter how much we don't like it. It sucks but it makes us all stronger in the long run. And congrats to your husband. That is a great honor for him to be able to go to that school.

I know how you feel hun, Its hard for them to come back and have to leave again, its almost a tease. Just continue to support him and continue to get support from your friends and family!   Whether theyre in the field for a week or deployed for 15months, its hard to be away from our husbands at any amount of time. Hopefully it will fly by!   and atleast this time you dont have to worry about danger!
