When i had my son my water broke. i put on a pad (i know its been awhile since you've had to use one) and waited and in about 2 mins it was soaked. my doc told me that no matter if you're having contractions or not to go to the hospital because it is dangerous for the sac to be broken if you're not being monitored. (btw, i will soon know what you're going through. my husband left for afghanistan yesterday and wont be back until feb2010. im due may 23, so he wont be home for the birth) good luck, stay strong. Same to you it is a possibility that my husband will not be home until then as well but we are crossing our fingers for Feb. 2009 instead. I think the only reason she thought it was ok for me to wait until tomorrow is cause I am still not 100% or even 60% that it is my water or just an increase in discharge. I feel like a retard and that I should be able to figure it out but it really isn't that much comming out it is just more noticeable than usualand makin me wonder. Well it wasn't my water I went in for the test and turns out it was just a lot of discharge (yuck!) but anyways that is good news for me cause it gives him more baking time and allows me to get a few more things done. they still didn't check to see if I am dialted or not just told me to take it easy.
