Because it's actually 10 months of pregnancy... it says 9 months but it's a FULL 9 months *L* confusing I know..

You are technically pregnant for 10 months. Think of it like this you are in your sixth month of pregnacy from week 24-week 28 and then the seventh month week 28-32, the eighth week 32-36 and the nineth from 36-40. If you go past week 40 you are in your 10th month of pregnancy.

Because some months have five weeks in them. Depends on whether you're counting lunar months (10 months of pregnancy) or calendar months (9 months of pregnancy).

because you hit the begining of your 9th month, doesnt mean that you do have to finish it, like the others. And yes please dont type like that.

I think it's because not every month has the same amount of weeks to it, so they use week estimation....

You carry for 9 full months. Like I am 34 weeks pregnant and when I hit 36 weeks I will be in my first week of my 9th month but I have to go to the end of the 9th month. You are in weeks 36, 37, 38, and 39 during the 9th month.

I told them I couldn't really remember but that the last day of my period was Feb. 14th I believe......so, they put that down......

In every month there is not 28 days (4 weeks), if there was it would mean we'd be pregnant for ten months ... Most months have 31 days in which means that we are only pregnant for nine months. Although doctors go by weeks - (7 days) rather than actual months. Does that make sense?   I've confused myself lol ...

Because your due date marks your 10th month of pregnancy, which is 40 weeks. 36-37 weeks is term. 40 weeks is full term.
